Ruby Wedding Anniversary Party

The last thing I would want to do is publish this page but having listened to pressure from others and on reflection that since I like others to allow me publish their parties then I have to do likewise myself. So Ann and I are married 40 years and we had a wee party at the house for family and a few friends on Friday, July 20th. We were married on July 1st 1972. To facilitate the numbers we had a fine marquee from Darren Curley and catering by Kate McAree. Kate did an excellent job and fed us with the very best of food. We had a great night thanks to everyone there and especially Paula and Dermot, Edelle and Declan who made all the arrangements, and thanks to all for your good wishes. Fr. Macartan celebrated Mass prior to the festivities and we thank him for a lovely ceremony. In lieu of gifts donations were made to two local charities - Cancer Treatment Support and Shauna Fund.
