After the league Emmet Óg defeated Killeevan and Emyvale defeated Scotstown to reach the final of the Shield. Emmet Óg continued their good form and had victory over Emyvale in the final. Lacken defeated the Harps and Donaghmoyne had victory over Latton in the semi-finals of the Cup and in the hard fought final Donaghmoyne were victors. Player of the Tournament in the Shield went to Emyvale player, Sophie Curley and Shona King, Lacken, was the Player of the Tournament in the Cup. The prizes were presented to the winners and runers-up by Kieran Fanning assisted by Fiona Corrigan, Ladies secretary.
