This game was even scores up until last quarter when the Steeler girls got their noses in front. Blackwater Steelers 29pts Cavan Lakers 50pts
Playing against the zone defence continues to be an obstacle for this young U 16 Steelers team who all bar two are up from U 14 where it’s all man-to man. This was a competitive game up until the middle of the third quarter. There was only 9pts between the teams going into the last but Cavan stormed ahead in the last and made it look like an emphatic win. Team & Scorers: Anna Rabella 11pts, Hannah Turley, E. McColgan, Ava Ross 6pts, Amy Deery 4pts, Niamh O Connell 2pts, Dearbhla Ni Ghallchoir and Alex McKenna.

This was a tight affair, the Rockets won the first but the Steeler girls woke up in the 2nd and clawed it back and then just edged out the win by 3pts.  Team: K. Deery 2pts, H. Turley, A. Ross 4pts, N. O Connell 8pts, A. McKenna 2pts, E. McColgan, A. Deery 7pts, D. Gallagher, Mariea and Anna 2pts.
