Civic Reception for Ladies

Monaghan County Council held a Civic Reception in the Hillgrove Hotel, for the Monaghan Ladies Football team and management to honour their victory in the National League. County Mayor, Seamus Coyle, and County Manager, David Fallon, congratulated the team and mentors on their great win and praised their courage, determination and hard work to reach that level of competition. They wished them further success and look forward to their participation in the All-Ireland Championship final later in the year. The Mayor presented team Captain, Sharon Courtney, with a commemorative Crystal Bowl and each member of the team was presented with a Scroll. The Reception was attended by a large number of the Councillors and Council staff.
