Sunday, May 7th was designated as the GAA Club Day when clubs around the country
celebrated with a day of activity for members and families. I dropped in to St. Mellans
and it was a hive of activity. I just missed the girls showing their skills at gaelic
football and the boys were involved in a blitz with the winners getting the Eoin
McKenna Memorial trophy. The weather was excellent and all were enjoying the activity
all going on on the three pitches with hurleys and footballs and training going on.
Our photos show some of that activity.
