Crocus Run/Walk 2017

The weather was far from clement but the 5k run/walk in aid of Crocus on St. Patrick's Day went ahead and a surprising number of hardy souls braved the elements to complete the course and raise money for the Crocus organisation. Spy Night club was the HQ and the course took the participants round the town with a finish in the Diamond and then back to Spy for tasty refreshments. All who contributed will know that they have supported a very worthy cause which is there for Cancer sufferers and their families and offers a wide range of services, free of charge, to them during the stressful journey through cancer. Even if one just pays a visit to the Crocus Centre at the Grange, Monaghan, and has a cup of tea in a very soothing atmosphere and there is always a kindly ear which will understand your situation. So well done to all involved. Our images are in no particular order.
