Edenbeg Ice Cream Day

On Friday, June 1st 2012 the pupils of edenbeg Childcare Centre participated in an Ice Cream Funday organised by Down Syndrome Ireland and sponsored by Hazelbrook Farm ice Cream. The purpose of course is to raise funds for the Down Syndrome association in order that they can continue to provide support for families with a Down Syndrome person and also to raise the profile of the association and the condition. Well done to the Edenbeg management for their work. I enjoyed my visit and my ice cream and for a few minutes I became one of the youngsters as the photo shows. It was all good fun.
