Redesigned Store Launch

The Centra Store in Emyvale, owned by Glyn Williams and family, has undergone a complete redesign and was officially launched on Saturday, March 10th with great razzamatazz. There was a full programme of entertainment and fun competitions with prizes galore. Pat the Baker was there giving out goodies and Silver Hill Farm was there giving everyone a sample taste of some of their very tasty duck products. Face painting and an art competition with plenty of Ice Cream for all kept the children occupied but everyone had to get a look at Sam. Yes, Sam Maguire travelled all the way from Dublin to be there and three of Monaghan County players were in attendance and were in top demand to be in photos. Conor McManus, John McCarron and Emyvale's Ryan McAnespie are great ambassadors for the GAA and for the clubs they represent and they made themselves available for photos and autographs before they rushed off to meet up with the rest of the County squad as they boarded the bus for Galway. Glyn sponsors Emyvale and Truagh GAA clubs and juveniles and adults from both clubs turned up to receive the sponsorship for the coming season. Outside Northern Sound broadcast their Saturday Sports Programme and interviewed Glyn on the big occasion and helped to spread the word that there was plenty going on in Emyvale's Centra.
