Taste of Monaghan Launch:                                               Taste of Monaghan Festival .. HERE The Taste of Monaghan food festival which has been in operation since 2009 and is recognised as the signature Food Event in Monaghan promoting fabulous local food, produce & companies with excellent family friendly events and most importantly lots of fun. MD Mayor, Brian McKenna and County CEO Eamonn O’Sullivan also spoke and the event was compered by Alan Johnston, chair of the Monaghan Town Team. All spoke of the terrific and wide ranging choice diners have in Monaghan and the proprietors and producers of the food were congratulated. The Festival should attract a big numer to the area as there is a perstigious line-up of chefs and exhibitions on the programme. Also present at the launch was Taus from Eastern Balti, and he served a selection of food to all present. Pollocks Pickles had a demonstration of their produce and there was warm congratulations for Mila who has just been awarded the contract to supply over 180 Lidl stores nation wide with her Bakery products under the label of Baked with Love. They are already on sale in Moonaghan Lidl and you should look for them and take some home - you will enjoy as I did.
