The Olympic Torch Passes this way
The Olympic Torch passed through Clogher, Augher and Aughnacloy on its way to Armagh, after doing a tour of Northern Ireland. Its final destination is London for the Summer Olympics but it has covered many a mile on it way. However huge crowds turned out everywhere to see the spectacle and local heroes and personalities carried the Torch through the various towns on the journey. Aughnacloy was packed with sightseers and the approach roads were lined with people. There was a carnival atmosphere even though the rain was belting down. Declan went along to see the event and has these photos for you.
