Truagh V Scotstown in Senior Football League

There is always a bit more at stake than points in the League when tow neighbouring teams meet and that was obvious from the commitment given by both sides when Truagh had a home game against Scotstown on Friday May 26th. It was a game which could have gone either way and one that saw good open football and also plenty of elementary mistakes. The home side, though establishing a minimum lead in the first half faded in the second and Scotstown took control of vital areas winning with a score of 1 - 13 to 0 - 21. The high scoring helped to make it an interesting and good game to watch. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Shane.
