Coláiste Wins Another Ulster Title: On Wednesday, May 22nd 2019 the U14 Girls from Coláiste Oiriall added another Ulster
title to the school’s achievements in GAA this year. The game, against a Gaelscoil from Belfast, was played at the Mid-Ulster Arena
in Cookstown and it was an all-weather pitch, which put Monaghan at somewhat of a disadvantage, as the Belfast school are
accustomed to playing on that type of surface. However the Monaghan girls soon adjusted and were able to read the bounce of the
ball and with great leadership from their joint captains, Holly McQuaid and Scarlett Herron, and their Bainisteoir, Máire McCague,
they were a good match for the opposition. It was a nail-biting game going from end to end at a very fast pace but Coláiste Oiriall
girls showed their supremacy to the final whistle with a score of 7 – 8 to 2 - 10. Comhghairdeas le gach duine a bhí páirteach - na
