County Minors: Saturday November 16th was a big night for Monaghan County Minors and their management team when they were honoured by the County Board for their fine achievements during the past season. They won the Liam Murray Cup with a back- to-back win in the Ulster Championship this year – the last time this was achieved by a Monaghan Minor team was in 1939/1940. After a hearty meal each player and member of the management were presented with a framed picture of the squad and the winning medal. Performing the presentations was Darren Hughes, which also gives due recognition to him for the massive contribution he has given to Monaghan GAA over the years.
