Emyvale U17s V Donaghmoyne. As the weather was excellent and little football until the Cavan V Donegal game at 4pm I decided to go to Tully for the first half on the Emyvale U17s V Donaghmoyne. This was a pour half for Emyvale as they started badly and did not get into the game but slowly as it approached half-time. Two or three players were doing it all with little support from a number of players. Donaghmoyne meanwhile got going right away and began to build a big score but gradually Emyvale began to build their own tally and as the final result of 4 - 10 to 3 - 13 shows both sides finished level. There were some excellent performances from both sides but unfortunately the team Lists gave the players names but not the number of jersey and so it was impossible to name the stars. One thing I did notice was the big crowd of supporters who travelled all the way from Donaghmoyne to support their youth but the number of locals was much smaller.
