Jolly Joggers Quiz 2019: The Jolly Joggers quiz has now become an annual event and attracts a full house for a fun night. The funds raised go to pay for the expenses involved in running the New Years Day Run in Emyvale so that all money taken in on the day will go to charity. The Quiz is held in the Redboys and thanks to him and his staff for the hospitality shown to all. Thanks also to Mary for serving up a very tasty and welcome supper. Many of the Joggers had tasks to do on the night and all carried out their assignments and then participated in the Quiz. Thanks to Geraldine Mohan who always looks after the scoring in a very efficient manner. There was a great turnout of teams which helps to provide the atmosphere and support the cause. There was a massive collection of ‘goodies’ as Spotprizes and the Joggers wish to acknowledge all who contributed to the success of the night. Prizes were donated by: McSorleys Pharmacy; Boots Pharmacy; Margo Hairdressing; Colleran Family; Ann McMahon; Fran Boyle; Margaret Holland; Vincient McQuaid EUCU Trading; Peter Aiden; Martina Duffy; Christina Murray; Pauline O’Brien; Mary Callery; Donagh Development; Karen Fields; Tommy Bowe; Jim McAllister, Glendun; Armagh Sports; McGonnell family; Bernie Woods; Brendan Treanor; Una McAree; Nanny Kellys; Peter McMahon; Geraldine McAree.
