New Owner: For the past 16 years the cycling fraternity around North Monaghan had a Cycle Shop within easy reach based in the Emyvale Enterprise Centre. The man who set it up and who looked after the customers was George McCarron. George was very knowledgeable of his trade, had a friendly welcome for every customer. He offered expert advice and did his best to supply the various demands of customers. However time moves on and George decided that it was time for him to retire and to have time to do some of the things he would like to do by having more time for himself and his family. Recently a new family moved into the North Monaghan area near Glaslough and we welcome Mark Andrews and his family. Mark has had a huge interest in cycling and has a lot of experience with cycling. He and George discussed the situation and the outcome was that Mark would take over the business from George and would carry on offering the cycling fraternity and all those, interested in having and maintaining a bicycle, an excellent service from the same location but with a new company name - ‘The Spin Doctor’. The hand over of the keys and the business took place on Friday evening, April 30th in the presence of the two families. We would like to wish Mark every success and hope that he will get the support he deserves. We also wish George a happy retirement but knowing him he will not sit around doing nothing but will keep himself busy with his other interests. We thank him on behalf of all he helped and for providing a local and excellent service to the Monaghan area and beyond.
