Tru-Mac Drama Circle presents ‘Professor Tim’
Tru-Mac Drama Circle will soon be back on stage with their second production following last year’s well received debut for the Tyrone/Monaghan drama group.
‘’Professor Tim’ is this year’s offering after ‘Troubled Bachelors’ twelve months ago. Clara Hall, situated close to both Emyvale and Aughnacloy, is hosting ‘Professor Tim’ on Friday March 25th and Sunday March 27th, with some subsequent performances to be confirmed.
A source from the cast explained part of the background to a three-act comedy play that will hopefully provide people with plenty of entertainment:
‘’ Nothing gets the pulse racing in rural Ireland like a public auction. But as Hugh O'Cahan prepares to leave his fiancé and home, an unexpected visitor arrives.
‘’ As family and friends kindly rally round, things get heated as the bravado of rural councillor James Kilroy and his son Joseph threaten to pinch Hugh’s two treasures.
‘’ Keep free the 25th and 27th of March, come along and savour a hilarious tail full of scheming, confrontation and downright skulduggery!
‘’ With all the doom and gloom about, why not sit back and relax as we recreate antics more familiar with an Ireland of times gone by’’, concluded the Tru-Mac spokesperson.
