Errigal Truagh Special Needs: Its Christmas time and Truagh special group usually celebrate Christmas with a party and join with other groups to share heir party too. However Covid has changed the programme and for the second year they have to forgo the celebrations. However Errigal Truagh Special Needs have a fantastic group of carers and they make sure that every attendee knows its Christmas, gets presents and celebrates the feast in their own Centre. Santa arrived a day or two ago and had gifts for all. Then today, Wednesday, the annual Photo Record of the year was presented by Ann Treanor. Again the smiles were aplenty and they were soon examining the photos in their books and recalling happenings throughout the year. I was there both days and will add the Santa photos in a day or two but below are the images taken at the presentation of the Annual Activity Record. Unfortunately on both days there were some who were unable to be there but they will get their presents and Photostory books when they return. It is always a joyous occasion and one that I cherish as the love they give is so genuine and they help us to appreciate what we have. It is a pleasure to be in a position to visit them and I applaud the wonderful work of the carers.
