Truagh Ladies: Truagh Senior ladies panel gratefully received new training jerseys and tracksuit tops at St Mellans Park on Friday evening in advance of the opening game of their Intermediate Championship campaign away to Inniskeen on Sunday 29th Aug 12 noon. Included in the photos with their players is their Team Manager, Anthony Treanor, and the sponsors of their training gear Niall Mc Kenna, Errigal Mushrooms and Peadar McGee, Cornacrieve Mushrooms. Truagh Ladies Committee thank Niall and Peadar for their generous sponsorship of the new training gear, which is a great encouragement to all the players who are putting in a great effort this year. They also paid tribute to Senior team jersey sponsor Damien Treanor or Errigal Contracts and to all local businesses for their ongoing sponsorship and support for our club. Truagh Ladies GFC encourage all our players and families to shop local and support local businesses and jobs. The Senior ladies are looking forward to their forthcoming championship campaign, where they will have 4 Round Robin games - 2 at home and 2 away. After their 1st round game with Inniskeen they will play Monaghan Harps at home, Corduff away and then Scotstown at home. They have recently qualified for the final of the Division 2 Monaghan League where they will play Corduff on the 12th September. The Senior ladies look forward to this busy forthcoming month of fixtures and welcome local people and younger players to come along to their games and hopefully they will give them something to cheer about.
