U7 Blitz: Emyvale HQ at Tully was a vibrant place on Saturday morning last as excited young U7 males and females took part
in a football Blitz. The sun was shining brightly sapping the energy of the adults present supporting their offspring but seemed to be
charging the batteries of the young generation. Teams from Monaghan Harps, Clontibret, Sean MacDiarmada and the host club took
part in a terrific blitz which was enjoyed by all participating. Meanwhile on the second pitch a Ladies team was training and
Killeevan and Emyvale U11 squads had a challenge game and once again enjoyment was high with everyone giving of his/her best
to impress. Occasions like these are so important as they give everyone an opportunity to perform and be a full member of the
team and it can also happen that during an event like this a star can appear from behind a cloud. So well done to Shane
McCormack, Emyvale Juvenile Chairman, and his crew for organising the event and well done to the officials involved with the
visiting teams and to all the supporters.
