Emyvale Cycling Club hosted a festive and challenging charity hillclimb event on December 15th, bringing the
community together in aid of two remarkable organisations, LA519 and Crocus Monaghan. Thanks to the
generosity and dedication of participants, volunteers, and donors, the event raised over €1,000.
Cyclists braved the climb with determination and were warmly rewarded at the summit with homemade mulled
wine and warm mince pies, a well-deserved treat after their efforts. The club extends heartfelt gratitude to
everyone who contributed to the event’s success, whether through cycling, volunteering, or donating.
Looking ahead to 2025, the club has an exciting calendar of events planned:
Reliability Run – February 23rd
Emyvale Youth Races – March 29th
Emyvale Grand Prix – June 1st
Tour of Monaghan – June 15th
New members are always welcome, and membership is now open for 2025. We have club spins on Saturday
