Monaghan 22nd February 1940 - 26th April 2025 In remembrance of Nancy, her family – Jim, Patricia, Edna, Anne, Brenda, Siobhán and Mary – along with our extended families, wish to sincerely thank everyone who offered their kindness, support and sympathy following Nancy’s recent passing. We are deeply grateful to Nancy’s neighbours, friends and the wider community for the many expressions of sympathy received—through visits to the house, cards, letters, messages, and by attending her Funeral Mass and burial. To those who travelled distances to be with us, your presence brought great comfort and strength. Our warmest thanks to Nancy’s devoted team of carers who supported her at home over many years, and to the wonderful staff of Mullinahinch House for the gentle care provided in her final weeks. Sincere thanks to Dr Watters, Public Health Nurses, and all who assisted Nancy with care and dignity throughout her later years. To those of all ages who offered a lifetime of kindness, love, fun and friendship to Nancy - you will always be remembered.  We are grateful to the countless friends, neighbours, family members, and community groups who offered their support in numerous ways throughout the wake and funeral. Your generosity and kindness was very much appreciated. Thank you to Fr Hubert Martin for his celebration of Nancy’s Funeral Mass and for his friendship over many years. Our thanks to the Eucharistic Ministers; the Funeral Ministers Elaine O’Doherty and Eamon McKernan for their part in the ceremony, and to Paula and all of the choir members for the beautiful music that added so much to the service. We are especially grateful to the many local clubs, groups, and businesses who formed guards of honour in both the village and the church—your presence was a moving tribute and reflected Nancy’s deep ties to the community she loved. Thank you to Emyvale Leisure Centre for the use of their facilities following the Mass.  A special word of appreciation to Shane, Pauric Hughes, Niall Hughes, Eamon McKernan and Niall McKenna for their care and attention in preparing Nancy’s final resting place. Finally, a sincere thank you to Peter McMahon and his team for their professional and dignified handling of all arrangements, and the support shown to our family throughout. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude. Nancy’s Month’s Memory Mass took place on Saturday 31st May at 10am in St Patrick’s Church, Corracrin. Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.
