Chocolate Shop: Today, Saturday June 4th I was invited to the celebration of the Refurbishment of the Chocolate Shop in Glaslough. I was there before and I have sampled their produce a few times and their chocolates are addictive. Patricia Thom, nee Murphy, has been the developer of the project and indeed was very kind to attend our Wednesday morning Tea/Coffee club in Emyvale some time ago and the members have been asking when I am going to invite her back they loved the Chocolate so much!!! Anyhow when I arrived today I had a walk about and the inside of the shop has been amazingly transformed with vintage furniture as display cabinets and they all beautifully decorated. There are added selections of Chocolate goodies and while your eyes admire the decor your mouth is watering for chocolate. Behind the counter Niamh, Bríd and Joulie prepare Coffee and chocolate drinks and make presentations of chocolate. While Joulie works inside the other two co-owners, Patricia Thom and Brian Finn, are busy chatting to callers, showing them around and answering questions. Outside too, neighbours and friends are enjoying the Coffee and chatting and extending their best wishes to the proprietors and we add our best wishes too to Patricia, Brian and Joulie. I encourage all to pay it a visit and sample the goods and I can guarantee you will be hooked.
