Happy Birthday to Cissie McKenna.
Monday, April 17th 2023 was a special day for Cissie McKenna, Emy, Emyvale, as she celebrated her 90th Birthday. Family,
relatives, friends and neighbours gathered in her home to celebrate the big occasion. There too was family friend, Fr. Pat, who
celebrated Mass of Thanksgiving for Cissie’s life well lived and prayed that she would continue in good health. He spoke of
Cissie’s generosity, friendship and hospitality and how she had a warm welcome for all who called. He told of her contentment
with life and her good judgement throughout which was a great example to us all. After the Mass the family and friends had
prepared a banquet of food and tasty eats, which all enjoyed and the chatting, laughter and stories continue well into the
evening. We congratulate Cissie on reaching the 90th year and we wish her good health and happiness for the years to come.
