Emyvale Leisure Centre A Big Clean Up is happening this Saturday, 16th November, from 10am -1pm. in and around the
Leisure Centre. Recent Clean-ups in the village and at Emy Lake have gone very well and made such a difference to amenities in
the area. Please consider giving an hour or two to help clear out old equipment, unwanted fittings and generally smarten up the
place. Members of several committees including the Leisure Centre, Tidy Towns, Youth Club, along with people from Monaghan
Volunteer Centre, will be in action. For more information contact Adrian Geary on 087 298667. Please bring working gloves and
any tools or equipment that might be useful. For other general information and bookings contact caretaker Paul on 087 176 3236,
or drop in Monday - Friday between 6.30-9pm.
November Monthly Litter Pick Mark your calendar for Saturday 30th, 11am-12.30pm, for the November Litter Pick in Emyvale,
the final one of 2024. Please meet at the Parish Field car park at 11am. Tea, coffee, scones and mince pies will be provided
afterwards to celebrate a great year of Tidy Towns.
Christmas Art Exhibition & Raffle for SOSAD A stunning and exciting exhibition, featuring the works of both professional and
amateur artists, will be held in the scenic setting of Emy Lakehouse on November 30th and December 1st.. "Drawn Together" will
show a staggering collection of over 100 pieces to suit all tastes, interests and price ranges. This will be a unique event for
Monaghan, and a real opportunity to enjoy an inspiring display of beautiful pictures. Come and purchase one off Christmas gifts
which can be gift wrapped for you on site. The Opening will be from 7pm -9pm on Saturday November 30th, and on Sunday
December 1st from noon-8pm. The Exhibition will be suitable for all the family with tea, coffee and treats served all day. Some
parking is available on site and stewards will be on hand to help you. Phone ahead to 087 0816449 if you need to arrange nearby
accessible parking. There are toilet facilities downstairs and the event is dementia friendly. Payment for art can be made in cash or
by Revolut with a generous 20% of all sales going to the suicide awareness charity SOSAD. There will also be valuable raffle prizes
of original art and an Emy Lakehouse voucher with tickets only €5. The venue can be found a few kilometres from Emyvale, near
the Lake, on the Emyvale to Glaslough Road at H18 P735. Please share and support this worthy cause
