GAA Stalwarts: Recently I have been rummaging through my Archives, which are vast, when I became aware of the people I
have pictured in the past who contributed massively to the growth of the GAA in Monaghan. I know there are many many more like
them and indeed many who have contributed as much or even more than some but these are the ones I pictured and have come
across them again and I thought that if I put them up on site it would acknowledge their contribution but also inspire clubs to look
at their history and record the people who carried the Club through thick and thin and who brought success to the club or county.
Otherwise the next generation will not know how or by whom the club was formed, developed and sustained. The images here are
in no particular order.
