Emyvale Ladies League Final V Donaghmoyne.

This was a game Emyvale was always going to face an uphill battle but they certainly gave a good account of themselves against the All-Ireland Champions Donaghmoyne. The south Monaghan side got off to a great start but Emyvale came back at them and challenged them all the way. Throughout it was a lively and very entertaining game and perhaps the final score does not reflect the competitiveness shown by the Emyvale ladies. The extra fitness shown by their opponents in the final quarter was the deciding factor and Donaghmoyne added a further title to their list for 2009.
