Annual Dinner and Awards.
The Ladies and the Mens Clubs joined forces for the Annual Dinner and Awards night on Saturday, March 26th in the Four Seasons Hotel, Monaghan. The night was organised by Eugene and Kathleen O’Brien and they did a great job as everything was top class and ran smoothly. The running order was kept moving by the adept and capable skills of Master of Ceremonies, Geraldine Watterson. A very tasty Buffet was served up by the Hotel followed by the formalities and then dancing to the lively music supplied by Barry Bear. All in all a good night and our congratulations to all who received awards. John Finn and Paudge Colleran, chairs of the respective clubs, thanked all who had assisted the clubs during the year and all who had brought honours to Emyvale through their talents either on the field or on the Scor stage and further success in the coming year is the hope of all.
