The Arch Club held its Christmas Party in the Four Seasons hotel, Monaghan, on Thursday, Dec 16th. As usual a big crowd turned out depsite the bad weather but this is a special night for all. Santa arrived and had beautiful gifts for everyone. He was accompanied by his little helpers and excorted to the hotel by members of Monaghan Fire Brigade. There was a big surprize for all when Mrs Claus arrived on the scene and she and Santa had a little argy-bargy about him being missing so much and not telling her where he was going. However they soon made it up and were real friends again before they departed for the next appointment and call in his diary. However he promised to call again over Christmas and to come to the party next year.
