Investec Sponsorship 2011

Investec has committed to continued sponsorship of Monaghan teams into the future. This was announced publicly at a function in the Hillgrove Hotel organised by Coiste Chontae Mhuineachain on Thursday January 27th. Representatives from all clubs were invited and the players in various grades were also represented. World Champion and US Champion Handballer, Emyvale’s Darren Doherty, was also an invited guest and Michael Cullen, CEO Investec stated that his company was delighted to have a World Champion wearing the Investec jersey and he congratulated Darren. Michael, himself a Monaghan town native, said that Investec is delighted to continue the sponsorship of Monaghan GAA as it has already been very beneficial to them both economically and from a fun point of view. He praised the professional attitude of Coiste Chontae Mhuineachain in negotiating the sponsorship. Treasuer, Marion Donnelly, thanked Investec and Michael for this show of confidence in Monaghan and hoped that the benefits to both sides would continue to flourish. Paul Curran, County Chairman, and Stephen McGinnity, on behalf of Manager Eamonn McEneaney who could not be present, also extended appreciation to Michael and the Investec Bank for the marvellous support and encouragement shown by Investec. The event was compered by County PRO, Siobhan McQuillan.
