Anglers Quiz 2010.
Once again, and it seems no length of time since last year, Emy and District Anglers
held their annual Christmas Quiz on Tuesday Dec 28th 2010. It was held in the High
House and a great crowd attended. Pat Foley was quizmaster and his personality together
with the quality of questions and the general homely atmosphere made for a great
night. The winning team consisted of - Albert Berry, Mary Dowd, Kevin Boyle, and
Bronagh Boyle.
The annual Draw was also held during the quiz and the following were
the winners: Margaret McKenna, Enagh, Monaghan: Jack Morrell, Legacurry, Monaghan;
and Barry Cassidy, Emyvale, Monaghan. Well done to all involved for a great night
and thanks to the High House staff for their hospitality.
